A: It is low density EVA foam. A dense foam. It is very safe.

A: It is closer to 1/2 inch.

Q: Can these be cut down to specific shapes or sizes?
A: You can cut the adhesive down to other sizes, but we wouldn’t recommend cutting the pads since fabric layer that will be ruined if you trim them.

Q: Would this work on a child’s helmet?
A: They are thick, sturdy pads. If there’s a lot of room in your child’s helmet, then they should work fine.
