Saved my son, thank you My son, 9, had outgrown his old helmet, so I bought this one. Less than three weeks later, he put it to the test. He is a daredevil who loves speed. Riding down a hill, that he isnât supposed to ride on, he lost control at ~30 mph and landed on the side of his head, on the asphalt. Secure fit These are great helmets! We upgraded our children’s helmets after one of them was diagnosed with a bleeding disorder. We needed helmets that would stay secure over their head and not slide backwards, leaving an exposed area.These Thrasher helmets stay where I secure them, covering their necks and have a small bill to protect their faces in case they fall face-first.
