Thicker than originals, but gets the job done. Ordered these for my venerable and reliable Bell X-Ray MTB helmet.I’ve had it for so long that the pads rotted out. I was skeptical about ordering these at first, but turns out I was nervous for nothing! I only needed one piece for the front of the helmet, but will keep the rest for future use. I didn’t even need the velcro circles that come with it since mine were still stuck on the helmet. Yes, they’re thicker than the original helmet pads, but they do compress quite a bit.
