Sturdy, solid and no jamming
Seems fine at first This U-Lock seemed just fine initially, it does exactly what it is supposed to. However, last week when I tried to unlock it, it was very difficultâthe key would not turn all the way for a while. I figured it may have gotten wet, dried it out, cleaned the inside, and kept using it. It finally got to the point that it would not open at all, and is now just permanently locked, unable to be opened. The key does not work, it doesnât turn all the way. WD-40 and a lot of cleaning have proved useless…
Don’t buy this lock if you plan on using it I bought two of these, one for each kid. Each lock came with two keys; all of the keys can open both locks. This makes me concerned that if anyone else ordered these same locks, they could unlock ours as well?A couple of weeks of using them, the locks started sticking. It took us a great deal of finesse, calculated movements, careful listening like we were breaking in to a vault, sweating and cursing to get our locks to work. We don’t have a car and we bike several times a day everywhere…
