Product Description

Product Description
The idea is that if it looks cool enough, kids might actually wear it. Adorned with graphics from the summer hit, "Cars," this helmet and safety pads just might do the trick. The colorful combo pack includes a CPSC-approved hardshell helmet and a set of knee and elbow pads. The helmet is constructed of high-density ABS plastic (the same material motorcycle helmets are made of) and lined with EPS foam padding designed to absorb impact in the event of a fall. The knee and elbow pads are made of soft, comfortable nylon and have hard, plastic shells on the exterior to guard against bumps and scrapes.

Honestly I think this set is only OK. The very first time wearing the helmet the liner started to come out. The pads I thought were supposed to be either knee or elbow, but the straps are only long enough to be elbows, they don't fit around my 4yr olds knees. Maybe I misunderstood. He does like the graphics and does not put up any fuss about wearing them.

The description of the product is misleading. The package includes a helmet, a knee pads OR elbow pads. We have a helmet and knee pads. Also the age group for this helmet is 5+. These are important details that were not mentioned in the product description.
The helmet looks good though.

My son loved the helmet, he is 3 years old, a little big for him but he will soon grow into it, we put a ball cap under it and off he went. If your child likes Cars, they will like this. Of course, Amazon shipped it quickly and it arrived on time. Thank you amazon for yet another great purchase.

Very nice product..the decals were very neat, the pads were the right size for my nephew...he's 1 1/2 yrs but has an extra large head....hard to find his size...this was prefect!

Like the helmet. Knee pads worked for a couple of years. My child is four now and has outgrown the knee pads. Downside, the wording of this description says knee pads and elbow pads....you only get one pair. Take your pick for where you put them. Good product.
